Raja Ram Temple Included In Tentative List UNESCO World Heritage Site

Located on the banks of Betwa river is the famous Raja Ram temple in Orchha. The temple is famous for its architectural heritage in Madhya Pradesh. The temple is constructed in a unique Bundela dynasty style. The ASI sent a proposal to UNESCO to include the temple in tentative list UNESCO world heritage site on April 15, 2019. UNESCO included Raja Ram temple has been included in the tentative list of UNESCO world heritage site.

Orchha was constructed by king Rudra Pratap Singh of Bundela dynasty in the 16th century. Chaturbhuj temple, Raja Mahal, Orchha Fort complex are famous. Orchha is famous for two elevated minarets called Bhadon and Saavan. The four palaces in Orchha - Raj Mahal, Sheesh Mahal, Rai Praveen Mahal, and Jahangir palace are famous.
