The western ghats in the kerala region is also considered as the only heritage site in the entire south and west india as per the unesco, which makes kerala stand apart as a must vist place. munnar, thekkady, gavi, wayanad, idukki, rajakkad, ponmudi etc, are the few of the most important destinations in the western ghats surrounded by forest and mountains. During winter, munnar has seen its temperature going down to 0 degree celecius.
