Amber Fort

The Amer fort commonly known as Amber Fort holds a special place in Jaipur tourism. The fort is perched on the top of Aravali Hills and is a blend of Hindu and Mughal construction style. The maze-like passages and serpentine staircases built using yellow and red sandstone is an iconic architectural wonder that holds a special place in Indian history. In the past, the fort was the main residence of Rajput rulers and today it is the most-sought after tourist spot.
