Minicoy Island

Minicoy is a 10km long island that is located to the south-west of Kalpeni island. As you step onto the island, you will be greeted by the glow of the shining sands on the beach. The sand that reflects the sun rays is astounding beauty. Though small, this island has a magnificent view that is created by the crystal clear water and trees on the beaches.   The cool breeze will take you to a different world and as you submerge in the water, your routine life will no more matter to you. The coral reefs that shelters the fish offer a spectacular view for the swimmers. Minicoy Island is not only known for its view but for a number of water games like canoeing, snorkeling, glass boat ride, scuba diving, windsurfing, and more. The landmark of Minicoy, the second-largest island of Lakshadweep is a tall lighthouse. There are two lagoons that make the island prettier.
