An artificial walking area, Coakers Walk was constructed in 1872. A much-loved location, this walk is built by  Lieutenant Coaker and is named after him. The starting point of the walking area is Van Allen Hospital and it meets the main road which is slightly above St. Peter's Church. A fence is constructed along the trail to ensure the safety of walkers. The pleasant weather, sightseeing, stroll with beloved people and cycling is all that makes Coakers walk a favorite spot for visitors. The clouds are close and often one feels like walking into the mist is a pleasant experience. This walkway is a usual getaway place for family and friend's gang.
