The Papanasam Beach 

The Papanasam beach is one of the fascinating tourist spots in Varkala. Calm and secluded, the beach gain popularity from around the globe for its religious prominence and sightseeing opportunities. It is assumed that as the name suggests, Papanasam which means “Destroyer of Sins”, washes away all the sins of one’s life. A major attraction of the beach is the towering cliffs that face the sea.
