Overview

Kerala is a world on its own in this tiny Earth that we live in. Somehow, if you travel right from the north to the south of Kerala, it would equalize every bit of Indian culture. And trust us, today, you will find at least one Keralite in every nook and corner of the world! That is the extent of how vibrant Kerala can be for all! Taking you through one of the most beautiful places in India, and even in Asia, is a small state in India, which is none other than Kerala. Fondly glorified as the ‘God's Own Country', due to its variant shades of nature, flora, fauna, cultures, climates, and landscapes.

Tourists make their way into this beautiful state to get a firsthand experience of the palm-fringed waterways, the fishing culture, and the lazy backwaters of Kerala.  Kerala in itself is loaded with greenery, making it a hotspot for those who are looking for eco-tourism venues. It is a haven of flora and fauna within a technological and fast-moving breed of adaptable people. The culture is welcoming and the locals love to share their experiences of Kerala living in its true, holistic sense. On the environmental front, the state is doing its bit to harness natural resources and one major example for this would be the world-famous Cochin International Airport. They executed one of the largest solar energy-operated airports in the world, and it is a masterpiece of renewable energy in itself.

For those, who plan to travel to Kerala, having an idea of the best time to visit South India is also great.  Well, since this is a state with a tropical climate, you will experience two monsoon shower seasons in a year. One is predominantly the monsoon between June – August (and that is the heavy one) and the other is between October- November (relax, guys, that is pretty calm, showery- so it is cool to experience). Otherwise, on the whole, the state is sunny, humid, and it has pleasant windy days too. The higher altitudes like Thekkady are cool, misty, and great for honeymoons, or if you would like to sit back and just enjoy the serene village life of rural Kerala.
