Thonnakkadavu Lake and Dam are part of the Parambikulam Aliyar irrigation Project. Built across the Thunakkadavu river, a tributary of the Parabikulam river, the reservoir is an attractive tourist destination. The unique beauty of the lake is well known among travelers.
