Singapore Zoo

Singapore zoo is one of the most visited tourist attractions in Singapore. Formerly known as Singapore Zoological Garden, the zoo spreads over an area of 69 acres of land. You can see almost 315 species of animals in the place, 16 percent of which are threatened. The authorities take care to keep them in their natural habitat. You can see a lion, tiger, leopard, cheetah, giraffe, alligator, python, tortoise, ostrich, pelican, monkey, gibbon, Lemur, wolverine and so on in here. The zoo also houses the largest captive colony of orangutans in the world. Animals from different parts of the earth are kept in their natural climatic conditions. There are many rides in the zoo like the boat, pony, horse carriages, animals and so on that you will find exhilarating.
