Kanyakumari Beach

The temple town, Kanyakumari is famous for its pristine beaches. Earlier known as the Cape Comorin Beach,  this tranquil beach is situated at the confluence of the Arabian Sea, Bay of Bengal, and the Indian Ocean. A pilgrim site with sacred temples and an amazing seashore makes Kanyakumari special. An eye-soothing sight of the beach is the rocky shoreline of the beach that turns reddish during sunrise and sunset. The view of the rising sun is a mesmerizing sight and the lighthouse situated along the seashore is an attraction where visitors can enter for a complete view of the beach and its surroundings. Kanyakumari beach is also famous for the multicolored sand which cannot be visible in any other part of India.
